Affordable:
We design our systems to have internal batteries. This
allows us to use off the shelf TV monitors with NO modifications.
Additionally this allows the use of simple RG59 coaxial cables that are very
economical compared to multi-conductor cables. These cables are easy to
repair in the field, and even the replacement of the entire 1000 feet would, at
most, cost $350.00, if that. The connectors designed in are also inexpensive
as they only carry the video signal and are also easily obtained and replaced in
the field, usually for less than $3.00 each. Then our entire systems are
priced at economical prices that have left municipal customers pleased for
over 8 years.
Low Maintenance:
As we describe above, most of our
equipment is maintainable in the field. Those parts of any system that receive
the most wear and tear are designed for field maintenance. Those
components that might be broken are easy to obtain at low cost.
Battery replacement is dependant on usage, but typically takes 3 to 4
years. Some customers take 2, others have taken 6 or more years.
Battery replacement is done at the factory.
Durable:
Our products are designed with the construction industry in
mind. We don't want you to have to be concerned with how the
equipment is treated. At shows we have often demonstrated that our cameras
can easily withstand multiple vertical drops, of over three feet onto concrete floors.
Simple:
All of our equipment is designed to be connected without any
specific training. All cables and connectors are straightforward and not
prone to misconnection. The hardest part of operating these systems is to
place the VCR into the record mode.
Portable:
As all of our systems are designed with batteries either
directly in the camera or attached directly behind the camera, they do not
require any power source. If you are using a TV or TV-VCR that
has its own battery power, (and LCD TV's lend themselves nicely), then
anywhere on the planet is accessible to you. If you don't have a battery
powered TV, then a simple cable attaches the TV through the cigar lighter of any
vehicle, allowing you to reach anywhere, a car, truck or even an off road vehicle can
go!
