A. Place the camera (1) in a convenient out of the way location, in reach of an AC  outlet (Fig. 2) .
B. Take the camera Recharge AC adapter (8) and plug it into a wall outlet (120V.),  plug the other end into the recharge socket on the back of the camera (1).
But first, remove the small plastic plug, (keep it, and replace before using the
camera).
C. Move the switch to the recharge position. ( the camera light should not come on.)
   ALLOW   14  HOURS (min.)   for first charge.

D. After recharging,  Move the switch on the back of the camera (1) to the center OFF  position.  Unplug the adapter (8) from the camera (1) and the wall outlet.   
Replace the plastic plug.
